Rainfall expected over parts of Oman

Muscat: Various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman are likely to witness thunderstorms of varying intensity on Sunday, August 4,2024.

Oman Meteorology has on Sunday, August 4,2024 issued a warning of thunderstorms of varying intensity, ranging between 20-35 mm, in the mountainous areas on a number of Governorates, namely Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, North Al Sharqiyah and Al Dhahirah.

Thunderstorms are accompanied by active winds ranging between 15-45 knots, causing valleys to flow and hail to fall, leading to a lack of horizontal visibility.
