Muscat: The 2024-2025 Academic Year’s first-term exams of the First Semester—for students sitting for the General Education Diploma (GED) and equivalent qualifications—will begin on Thursday, 23 January and run until 6 February 2025.
As many as 61,257 students (male and female) will take the exams at the levels of government schools, private schools, special education schools and the ongoing education scheme.
The departments concerned readied 366 well-equipped examination centres distributed across the governorates of Oman by ratio of student density. After the exams, approximately 6,200 teachers will mark the students’ answer sheets.
