Muscat: The 2nd Annual International Forum on Strategic Issues and Global Trends kicked off here on Monday.
The forum covers a spectrum of topics, namely the conceptual framework for the development of emerging technologies in the field of defence, future foresight and international cooperation in the field of defence technologies.
The 2-day event is participated by several national defence colleges and centres of strategic studies of several Arab and friendly countries, as well as a number of government units, universities, colleges and local and international private establishments.
