The Republic of Pakistan has announced on Thursday, April 24, 2025, raft of measures against the Republic of India, including closure of land and air borders to Indians.
Pakistan moves to suspend trade with India, cancels visas for nationals except Sikh pilgrims
Pakistan also announced that it will cancel visas for Indian nationals and close its skies to carriers from India, following the deadly attack by gunmen in Pahalgam.
The move comes after India downgraded ties with Pakistan, alleging support for 'cross-border terrorism'
India's Foreign Ministry said earlier on Thursday all visas issued to Pakistani nationals stand revoked with effect from Sunday.
The measures mark an escalation of tension between the two longtime rivals.
