Salalah: The Golden Residency Program for Investors aims to solidify Oman’s position as an attractive destination for long-term investment. It offers renewable ten-year residency for investors and their families, providing stability and growth in a secure environment.
Pathways to obtain residency include property ownership in integrated tourism complexes, company establishment, purchase of government bonds or shares, and bank deposits. It also includes establishing companies that provide 50 job opportunities for citizens or nomination by foreign companies for their partners and key employees.
The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion today organized an event titled "Sustainable Business Environment" at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Compound for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah.
The event was held under the patronage of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, and in the presence of Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion.
It was also attended by some ministers, senior officials, dignitaries and investors from the public and private sectors.
The event witnessed the launch of three developmental programs representing a qualitative shift in Oman’s investment landscape, namely the Golden Residency Program for Investors, the "Distinguished Companies" Initiative, and the service for transferring commercial registry ownership via electronic attestation on the "Oman Business" platform. Additionally, strategic cooperation agreements in the construction sector were signed.
