Agreement signed to boost infrastructure projects in Al Wusta

Hima: A number of agreements were signed on Sunday in Al Wusta Governorate related to the initiative to enhance road and infrastructure projects across the governorate’s wilayats with the private sector.

The agreements are valued at OMR1.8 million. The total length of the roads to be implemented reached 26 kilometres.

The agreements were signed on behalf of the Governorate by Sheikh Ahmed bin Musallam Al Katheri, Governor of Al Wusta, and on behalf of the private sector by representatives of the participating companies in the initiative, in the presence of a number of governorate officials.

This initiative is the first of its kind in the Governorate and is part of the commitment to strengthen partnership with the private sector and its contribution to developing infrastructure and achieving sustainable development indicators.
