Hisham Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMG), affirmed that the Group, as a global institution with over 55 years of expertise in real estate development, bases its decisions on meticulous and in-depth studies.
"Our selection of the Sultanate of Oman came as a result of this, allowing us to replicate our successful experiences through the development of urban communities," Moustafa stated.
The Group will undertake the Jood and Yamal projects in Oman, representing an investment exceeding $5 billion and encompassing 15,000 residential units.
This endeavor aims to "introduce a new concept for smart cities and coastal destinations adhering to global standards," Moustafa added, noting that the projects are aligned with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.
Hisham Talaat emphasized that the Group is unique in applying global standards across its various urban projects in Egypt, catering to over 1.5 million residents. These standards ensure a sophisticated quality of life and integrated services, while simultaneously incorporating elements of sustainability for the benefit of future generations and delivering genuine added value to the economy and society.
TMG plans to implement the new community standards, which aim to impact societal development in a distinctive way, in the promising Omani market.
Furthermore, the Group intends to extend this unique experience to an additional 1.5 million residents across Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Iraq during the period from 2025 to 2030.
This announcement was made during the official launch event for TMG's Jood and Yamal projects in Oman.
The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
Attendees included His Excellency Dr. Khalfan Al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Town Planning, Mr. Hisham Talaat, Chairman of Talaat Moustafa Muscat Real Estate Development, along with a number of Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and senior officials, as well as top leaders from the Talaat Moustafa Group.
Yamal Coastal Project:
Yamal is described as a high-end, exclusive residential and tourist community located in Manuma on the Gulf of Oman coast. It boasts a beach front stretching 1,760 meters. The project offers an integrated lifestyle combining luxury and entertainment, featuring an international marina, water sports facilities, world-class hotels, and comprehensive services, alongside diverse residential units overlooking the sea and the marina.
Jood Residential Project:
Jood is a fully integrated project within Sultan Haitham City, introducing a new concept for smart, sustainable communities. It encompasses varied residential units, vast green spaces, and a full range of service, commercial, entertainment, medical, and educational facilities, in addition to a social and sports club.
It is worth noting that TMG officially launched sales for both the Jood and Yamal projects on December 2nd and is currently receiving customers at its Sales Center located at 595 November 18 Street in Muscat.
