Masirah: Activities of a three-day Family Creativity Forum kicked off in the Wilayat of Masirah, South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, on Monday.
The forum, the second in 2025, aims to support and empower working families and develop their marketing capabilities by providing platforms that allow them to showcase their products and better communicate with society.
Sanaa bint Hamid Al Farsi, Assistant Director of the Department of Social Development, said, “The second Family Creativity Forum is pursuance of the Ministry’s efforts and keenness to promote the economic sustainability of home-based projects and enable working families to compete in the local market. The forum also enables working families to develop methods of innovation and exchange expertise with other participating families.”
Al Farsi added that the current edition of the forum stands out for the diversity of accompanying programmes and the attraction of new elements that target all members of the family.
The forum, which runs until 31 December, 2025, includes 20 stalls for productive families, a heritage corner, a drama section, a folklore deck, circus shows and interactive programmes for children.
