North Al Batinah Municipal Council discusses service, development matters

Sohar: North Al Batinah Municipal Council held a meeting on Wednesday chaired by Mohammed Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah and Chairman of the Council.

The meeting discussed several responses received by the Council as part of its follow-up on service and developmental topics. These included the creation of a government site for a camel racing field Midan Al Hejn in Wadi Al Faras, the allocation of land for the construction of a rehabilitation centre for persons with disabilities in the village of Wadi Hibi, and a request for the allocation and merging of land plots adjacent to Hibi Fort.

The Council also reviewed the creation of the Al Fulaij residential layout in the Al Fulaij area and the paving of the road connecting Sultan Qaboos Road with the Al Batinah Expressway in the Deel Al Abdulsalam area in the Wilayat of Saham.

Furthermore, the meeting examined the results of the third Health and Environmental Affairs Committee meeting and discussed the current status of volunteer teams in North Al Batinah Governorate and ways to develop them.
