
Muscat: The Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) today signed a strategic contract with Abraj Energy Services to provide hydraulic fracturing services, reflecting its commitment to enhancing hydrocarbon resource recovery, improving operational efficiency, and supporting local content.
Hydraulic fracturing is a cornerstone of PDO’s operations, contributing to improved production and enabling the development of complex hydrocarbon reserves.
Under this contract, Abraj Energy Services will employ advanced fracturing technologies, including enhanced granular support systems and gels, to deliver highly efficient solutions aligned with PDO’s production targets.
This contract is part of PDO’s focus on enhancing operational efficiency and developing national capabilities, supporting sustainable value creation and strengthening the competitiveness of Oman’s energy sector.
