HH Sayyid Theyazin receives special envoy of French President

Muscat: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, received Gérard Mestrallet, Special Envoy of President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and areas of cooperation in various fields.

The meeting also discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly in logistics, opportunities to develop trade exchange and enhancing the role of Omani ports in supporting the smooth flow of maritime corridors and international trade, as well as ensuring the integration of supply chains between Asia and Europe.

The meeting was attended by Eng. Said Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and several officials from both sides.
