Kabul: Pakistan launched airstrikes on locations in Afghanistan near the border between the two countries, resulting in the death of at least 12 people and the injury of 14 others.
Afghan government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told X-Platform that the Pakistani army had bombed civilian homes in Kunar, Khost and Paktika provinces, adding that as a result of these attacks, 11 children and women, as well as an elderly man, were killed.
In neighbouring Paktika province, residents said an attack killed three civilians in the Barmal district.
One resident added that the strike targeted a house, and the dead were children.
