CBO announces auction results of bond issue

Muscat: The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) on Monday announced the auction results of the 84th Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue, which received overwhelming response from investors, worth a total applied amount of OMR164.37 million.

According to a media release issued by CBO’s Market Operations Department, the 83rd GDB Issue, has received applications amounting OMR164.37 million with allotment amount of OMR100. million. The average yield was 4.48 percent at an equivalent price of OMR100.120, while the highest yield was 4.50 percent at an equivalent price of OMR100.00 and the lowest yield was 4.00 percent at an equivalent price of RO 103.030.

The issue will be settled this Wednesday 25 August 2026. The 84th GDB issue, carrying a coupon rate of 4.50% p.a, will mature on 25 August 2033.
