Municipal Council Elections committee approves preliminary candidate lists

Muscat: The Main Committee for Municipal Council Elections for the Fourth Term held a meeting today, chaired by Eng. Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior.

During the meeting, the committee approved the preliminary lists of candidates in preparation for announcing them, and reviewed ongoing preparations for the upcoming stages of the electoral process, as well as the level of technical readiness of associated systems and services.

The committee also discussed a number of topics on the agenda and took appropriate decisions regarding them.
